Window Replacement Project

Providence Place’s window replacement project continues. The following window replacements are anticipated to be completed in the order listed below. Note: All dates and rooms are subject to change without notice. If you have questions, please talk with your Resident Care Manager.

July 2 to 12
Unit 1 – Rooms 172, 180, 182, 184, 185, 186, 183, 181, 218, 220, 260, 258, 256, 162, 164 and Unit 2 – Rooms 39, 141, 142, 143, 145, 147, 149, 131, 129, 127

July 15 to August 6
Unit 1 – Rooms 125, 124, 123, 151, 153, 155, 157, 158, 159, 187, 177, 176, 175, 173, 171, 169, 150, 151, 202, 203, 204, 206, 208, 210, 212, 250, 248, 246, 244, 242, 241, 240 and Ground Level – Rooms 240, 295, 297

The window team including your resident care manager, maintenance, housekeeping, service coordinators, recreation and volunteers have done a tremendous job with the logistics and moving of residents and their belongings.

Reminder: In order to protect belongings from the construction site, all resident rooms will be completely emptied including items in closets and drawers. The window team, as outlined above, will assist residents and families with packing up belongings and placing on a designated cart. This packing process may begin the business day prior to the construction day.

As these carts will be kept in a secure area for the day, we ask that the residents along with their loved ones determine what items will be required for their assigned day, such a cosmetic bag, reading material, etc. Staff will be able to access carts if an item is unexpectedly required. Residents may be displaced from their rooms up to 8 hours between the hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to allow for a thorough room cleaning while the room is completely empty. We will provide an alternate space for residents to rest if desired.

Families and residents are encouraged to participate in packing up belongings several days prior to the construction time. Boxes will be made available if required. Please note: if there are items (which may include irreplaceable items or those of significant value) that you would prefer to move yourself, please arrange to have such items removed from the room and facility well before the construction date.
As we continue to complete this significant project, we are grateful for your support and patience in assisting. We understand that the project imposes disruption to the residents however are sure the residents will be pleased with the new windows.

C & S Construction will continue to restrict the use of Parking Lot 3 (northwest lot) until the end of the project.
