Working at Providence Place means joining a community.
Our compassion isn’t restricted to our patients and residents, but also extended to our staff. At Providence Place, all staff, regardless of station, are treated with dignity and respect.
Though our foundation is firmly grounded in our history with the Congregation of the Sisters of Providence and the Catholic Health Association of Saskatchewan, we welcome people of all backgrounds and faiths. Diversity on staff is key to serving a diverse clientele. The more diverse we are, the better able we are to serve Saskatchewan’s seniors.
Our emphasis on holistic health requires a creative and collaborative staff. Physicians work with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nutritionists, social workers, registered nurses, spiritual counselors, families and caregivers to create treatment plans that restore, rehabilitate and maintain health.
Collaboration is not just expected of our healthcare team, but also of our administration. We’ve adopted an open communication management philosophy that encourages unilateral communication at all levels of Providence Place. This ensures that problems, when they do arise, are addressed early—something that’s crucial to providing quality healthcare. We value all employee feedback and work hard to create an environment of love and respect.
